Qiedeng Wetland
Covering an area of 170 hectares, it was the Zhuhu Salt Pan during the Japanese colonial period. Due to the construction of an offshore fishing port, it was used as a sedimentation site and surrounded by earth dikes. The abandoned salt pan gradually became a habitat for wild animals and plants. Migratory birds breed in the wetlands in summer, and in winter it attracts a large number of migratory birds for the winter. Bird surveys have recorded as many as 141 species and more than 5,000 birds. It is the largest wintering habitat for migratory birds in southern Taiwan. The most famous bird species is the endangered protected bird species "Black-faced Spoonbill". Currently, there is a tourist interpretation center in the wetland for tourists to visit and tour.
Qieding Wetland

In the early days, the salt trade was a monopoly system, and illegal private salt also emerged. In order to protect the salt tax revenue, the state set up management agencies and police systems, and the gun tower is a historical building used to strengthen anti-hunting work.
Kaohsiung Gun Fortress
Located in the salt field, Qieding Gun Fortress witnessed the salt trade after the war and hosted the guards who protected the field. The salt trade in the early day was a monopoly, leading to the rise of many illegal salts merchants. In an attempt to ensure the collection of salt tax, the then government established a management organization and a security system. The gun fortress was a historical building used to crack
down on illegal salt activities.


Lover's Pier and Water Sports Recreation Area
In addition to providing an abundant auction market for freshly caught fish, Singda Harbor has a vast hinterland and 38 hectares of inland recreational waters, making it an important base for the development of water sports tourism in Taiwan. Its facilities include jet skis, canoes, heavy sailboats, SUP stand-up paddleboards, windsurfing boards, banana boats, small sailboats, etc., which are suitable for company teams to sign up for competitions or for the whole family to experience together. Water Sports
On top of providing fresh catch trade, Singda Fish Harbor covers a large sea area with a 38-hectare space for recreational activity. This makes it the

Xingda Port Fishing Market
The tourist fish market located in front of the Xingda Port Fishery Association Building is always crowded during holidays. It is also the base for catching mullet in southern Taiwan. In the early days, the catch was large, so Qiedeng was called the hometown of mullet. The market sells a variety of aquatic products and "freshly caught" fish and fish, including: various fresh fish, live shrimps, shellfish and live crabs... etc. There are also various cooked foods and seafood snacks, such as milkfish balls, squid balls, oyster omelette... etc., waiting for tourists to explore and taste.
The Fish Market of Singda Harbor
Located in front of Singda Harbor Fisherman's Association Building, the Fish Market of Singda Harbor receives a large crowd on every holiday. It is also the site to capture mullets. The catch yield for mullets was extremely high in the early days and Qieding was known as the hometown for mullets. The market has various types of seafood and freshly caught ones, including different fish, shellfish, live prawn and crabs. After visiting the fishing market at dusk, we came to the coffee cart community at the end of the embankment, drank coffee and listened to live performances by live singers, watched the fishing boats slowly entering and leaving the sea, and the flickering lights of the thermal power plant standing on the opposite bank, forming a beautiful and moving picture at night, allowing people to experience the relaxed atmosphere of the fishing village that is different from the city.
